Congratulations Linda Kresal!

We are at once happy and sad to announce the retirement of AFSCME Council 65’s long time Finance Director, Linda Kresal. We are excited for her new journey but saddened to see a member of our AFSCME 65 family go.  She has been an integral part of our AFSCME 65 family for over a decade and you have probably heard her friendly voice on the other end of the phone when calling with your local union’s financial questions!  She will truly be missed.

The daughter of an Ironworker with USW, Linda was a member of the Guild Union for over 15 years before joining Council 65 in 2009 as our Office Manager/Bookkeeper and later as Finance Director. An Accountant since 1979, she worked behind the scenes to help our union support members like you. Members who have attended past Council 65 Conventions or Day on the Hill events, will recognize Linda as one of the staff helping them get registered and set up for the events.

In the future, you may see her and her family at a campground near you! On behalf of our entire AFSCME 65 Family, we congratulate Linda on her well-deserved retirement and thank her for her years of service to our members and our mission.
